Protect & Assist combines call screening with care coordination tools, like medication reminders and a shared care plan, for families looking out for someone they love.
Call-blocking apps help with robocalls, but they can't help once a scammer is already on the line. So Protect & Assist does two things. Callers who aren't saved must say who they're calling and why before the phone rings. And on Guardian plans, an AI listens to the start of each connected call for scam talk, reads the conversation before it acts, and can end the call and alert the family.
Screening can make mistakes: it can miss a harmful call or stop a legitimate one.
