We'd like to hear from organizations that work with older adults and the families who look out for them.
Area agencies on aging, senior centers, care providers, banks and credit unions, and community groups. Today, each family signs up and sets up Protect & Assist on its own. There is no group plan, reseller program or integration yet. If you have an idea for working together, tell us.
Calls from unsaved numbers don't reach the person being protected until the caller says who they're calling and why. Calls from family and saved contacts ring through as before.
Caregivers see each screened call on their dashboard: the name and reason the caller gave, and how the call ended. A caller's name is what they say; it isn't verified.
Guardian plans listen to the start of each connected call for scam talk, such as a request to wire money. The AI reads the conversation before it acts. With a hang-up rule on, the call can be ended for both sides and saved to the family's dashboard.
We may call at the scheduled time to check that a dose was taken, and the family is told when it isn't confirmed. Reminders are informational, can be missed, and aren't a substitute for medical care.
Screening can make mistakes: it can miss a harmful call or stop a legitimate one. Protect & Assist is not an emergency service or a medical provider.
